Rebuilding the site...

So, I'm currently in the process of rebuilding this site. 21.02.2025.

I got interested in starting up a corner of my own a long time ago, but I've almost never been able to get a full website up and running just like how I want it to, and with all of the content I want.

I reckon that's because I spend half my time wrestling with CSS rather than writing the actual content I want... layout's infuriating sometimes.

The old version of moonvixen.world was written at a time I didn't really understand HTML / CSS well enough to maintain a website properly. Enough to piece one together, sure, but it become a massive pain to maintain incredibly quickly, was kind of buggy in terms of layout in general, and was overall a bit of an... ahem, eyesore. I think that drove me away somewhat from actually putting more onto it.

I think I have a better hang of this now. Enough to give it a shot, at least. I've always enjoyed the freedom and expressiveness of these types of static sites over a dreary social media feed.
